I want to thanks all of the critics who write comments on here but never make or try the recipe. Before commenting, try making the food first people! Or, watch the show and see what she means - the recipe was completely easy to follow after seeing the episode. Geesh - get a clue!

The food was amazing. It is even better on the second day (it makes a lot of couscous. Letting the flavors sit overnight really allows the flavors to come out. Same with the chicken - the flavors were much more pronounced on the second serving.

Thanks Anne - again, an amazing recipe that I will definitely keep in my repertoire!

I made this once and plan to make it again for an office party. Question-what is the difference between using cumin seeds versus plain ground cumin?

It was Wounderful! My Husband Loved it. I am a Big Fan of Couscous. I will be eating it for Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner for the next few days. I don't mind. Its Very Good Thank You Anne, Your the Best!

They apparently updated the recipe so it follows what was on the show. I found this very tasty, would definitely make again! I am surprised it's considered 'Intermediate'; I did not find any of the techniques difficult, just more time consuming than usual (with making the paste and leaving on chicken for an hour, need to use some time management skills if you have kids running around!

I do not know what went wrong with this dish but I hated it! I watched the episode and browned the chicken and everything else like it called for. For some reason the chicken was not flavorful and couscous and vegetables were mediocre at best! Will NOT try again.

Wow! I made this last night, and my husband and I both loved it. Super flavorful and delicious. I added some rosemary to the garlic paste based on reviews that said the dish lacked flavor, and I think it worked very well. I also scraped off the excess garlic paste before browning the chicken since it started to burn on the first piece I put in the pan (burned garlic tastes terrible!, but then added the paste to the pan with the onions and celery. I served it with a cilantro raita and some naan bread, and YUM! I will definitely be making this again and trying some other variations.

The recipe was correct-the browning of the chicken is later in the text. Read the entire recipe first, and then go for it! Can't wait to make this one-it looked great on TV!

No good! I just made this for dinner tonight and I really thought the garlic flavor would make for a great dish but it didnt. Don't waste your time I used the revised version that was the same as on the show and it still was very disappointing. If youre going to put so much time into making dinner it should be tastier.
