I couldn't wait to go to my local farmer's stand to buy the fresh vegetables for this soup. It is wonderful! So refreshing and full of flavor. I cut back a little on the olive oil and my family loved it. I'll be eating this for leftovers for the next couple of days. THIS recipe is the real deal for Gazpacho. Try it!

Thanks for the recipe Anne...my husband loves gazpacho de verdad. As for Wendy-Whino....thanks for ruining the rating on a recipe because you don't know how to season to taste or cook for that matter.

I need to preface my comment by saying that this was the first time I've tried gazpacho. I thought it was alright. I just felt like I was drinking salsa. For me it needs a little more substance. However, this may not be the recipes fault... it might just be my personal taste. I still love Anne Burrell! On a side note, Id like to give an 'amen' to Lorna.

I can't tell you how delighted I was to see and try Anne's gazpacho. Having lived in Spain I can tell you that this is the real deal and have never found a recipe here that incorporates bread into the gazpacho as Anne (and many, many Spaniards do. This is exactly how I learned to do it in Spain and making and eating it took me right back to that beautiful country. Anne you are outstanding. I love your recipes and try every single one you present. They are all winners. I wish you were on every day.

A wonderful recipe. I have made gazpacho before, but not with bread as an ingredient. A very good taste soup with a different texture. I will definitely prepare again especially during the summer months. As for Wendy's rediculous comment below...you obviously do not know how to cook for you do not know the difference between "Kosher" salt and "table" salt! Nor do you know the term "season to taste". I have prepared many of Anne's recipes using just the right amount of "Kosher" salt to my taste...the dishes are never too salty and always full of flavor. Thanks again Anne for a delicious recipe!

I really liked the texture the bread provided, and it certainly was a simple cut, "dump", and blend recipe. I find any other that "home grown" tomatoes mealy and tasteless. Since I didn't have any on hand, I did the recipe pretty much as shown with 3 instead of 2 cloves of garlic. I had a few roasted red peppers (jarred for convenience on hand, and that really pumped up the flavor, color, and added a slight smokiness. I also chopped up some fresh cilantro which gave it a finished "wow" quality.

How many times does it have to be said...if you're not reviewing a recipe that you've already tried, keep it to yourself. And if you don't like the show, don't watch it. This forum isn't for whining and venting, but to share your reviews after trying to make the recipe.

This is the first time that I have watched this chef. She uses an unbelievable amount of sodium in her cooking. I've never seen someone pour on the sodium like that...just awful to watch. I doubt that there will be a recipe that she comes up with that won't give you a bypass...

Wonderful flavor and texture. I only used 2 tblspns of sherry vinegar, and not quite so much olive oil, and it was just perfect. This is a definite keeper of a recipe!

Anne's gazpacho is delicious and we ate almost the whole bowl. She is funny and refreshing. I love her show but we need more of her! How about getting rid of some re-runs in favor of MORE ANNE!
