Amazing potatoe salad! I did not leave the bacon to brown long enough, but will do it next time. I could not stop eating it.

I made this and it was good... but it was even better the next day for leftovers! I don't know if I cooked it wrong or something, but it was very running when I made it at first. I guess it took some time to set up overnight or something. but still, REALLY good the next day!

Great directions as it came out well. It wasn't tangy enough for me...I would increase the vinegar next time...these could be because we ate it while it was still rather hot...next time I'll plan ahead and let it sit awhile.

Now my go-to recipe for German Potato Salad. Easily made first, let cool to warm temperature while making Weinerschnitzel or other accompaniment. Perfect blend of flavors and texture - sauce soaks into hot potatoes with bacon clinging into a unified side dish / salad. Tasted good next day for lunch with a quick short zap in the microwave. Thank you Anne!

This was simple and delicious!!! I'm not a big fan of vinegar, but I loved everything about this and might even add more next time.

I was trying to find a recipe like this for my husband. His mother use to make German potato salad and he was missing it since she had passed away. I made this tonight and my husband absolutely loved it! It brought back some great memories for him. Thank you, Anne! I will definitely make this again, I have no choice since hubby loved it so much.
