Wonderful!! The flavors in this dish are so great together, the smokey bacon and acid from the vinegar. This is a dish that I will make over and over again. Anne you are fantastic!!

I've tried German potato salad a few times, but didn't think it was that great. When I saw Anne making it, it inspired me to give it a try and I have to say this was the best! I'm so glad I tried it and I'll be making this one again and again. Thanks Anne and Food Network.

This was outstanding! I cut it back to 5 slices of thick-cut bacon & pulled the bacon out before adding the onions...also drained off a little of the fat...then after adding the liquids & letting them cook a bit, I added the bacon back in. I reheated this mixture a bit right before the potatoes were done and then mixed the 2. What was really amazing is that the longer the potatoes sat & cooled, the better & more pronounced the flavors became. I'm actually making this again tonite for a party. Thanks, Anne!!

Very tasty! I really enjoyed this. My husband....not so much. He is a stick-in-the-mud when what I fix isn't what he normally eats. I fixed Sunny Anderson's chicken fried pork chops to go with this. The only thing I didn't enjoy about this particular show was the Music!!! It drowned Anne out most of the time...

Fabulous. The flavor goes on and on. Great with the schnitzel, but I can see serving this with all sorts of meats, including grilled wild game.
