I made these last night and they came out great! Easy, easy easy! The figs are still good after they cool down. Just a thought, make sure you get good ripe figs. I think that may make a difference. I served them as an App and everyone loved them!

I made these last week and will be making them again tonight.
I had my neighbors over last week and they went "bonkers" over these tasty little purses!
Thanks Anne, you have done it again with your fabulous, over the top recipes.

I had dried figs and I reconstituted them in red wine. The recipe came out fabulous. Thanks, Anne, for another great recipe.

I saw the show on Saturday and wanted to make the appetizer for my husband's birthday which is today. When i went shopping - NO FIGS. But they assured me they would have some today and they did. At the suggestion of the produce man I put 1/2 a honey roasted pecan in the fig with the goat cheese. OMG, these were fabulous. I let my hubby have two halves as an appetizer, then I served him two more halves with the salad as instructed. I will be fixing these again! So delicious. We had the chicken from the same episode last night for supper, truly awesome. I have yet to be disappointed by any of Anne's recipes.

Thanks for reminding me how much i love Figs! It reminded me of a simple but sophisticated kicked-up version of my Southern grandmother's fresh from her garden Fig recipes.
Really great for an Appetizer, Salad or a Dessert.
