I thought this was a great simple recipe. The flavors are great, the prep is easy, and the result is a fun salmon dish. My kids even like it!
Also, this is a post site for recipes, not to rip on the chef's show.

I live in a part of the country where fresh, wild salmon is blessedly abundant and we often enjoyi it in our household. We think it is such a great fish that it needs little adornment, grilled or roasted, but the addition of this compound butter really makes it extra special. The butter would be wonderful for all number of other uses. We had lemon thyme in the garden and used that for the thyme component and the butter was simply scrumptious.

I used just a regular lemon and it turned out great. Very simple and easy to make! Thanks so much.

This is one of the most tasty, quick salmon recipes I've made! The butter added at the end completes the entree, without taking away from the salmon itself. This has a very clean, fresh taste to it. Everyone loved it at my house. I've made this several times.

My family loved it. My mother-in-law usually does not like salmon but she liked this recipe. Putting the butter on as a final step ensures a very moist salmon meal. I had trouble turning the fish over (skin side up so I simply brought the fish in and put it under the broiler after putting the butter mixture on.

I am always interested in different ways to do Salmon, and the compound butter really serves well to enhance a nice piece of fish which is all that needs to be done sometimes.
