This sandwich was so good! So easy and yummy... I didn't have time to make the pepper relish, so I just added stone mustard and mayo at the end... It was so delish! thanks Anne Burrell!

LOVED this, especially the hot pepper relish! I doubled the recipe and so we could have leftovers. Thanks Anne!

This is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The flavors are great.

My biggest problem with this recipe is stopping my husband from eating all the pickled hot pepper relish before I can finish making sandwiches. Used my George Foreman grill as a panini press. Excellent results. Really delicious!

I am not a sandwich person but this looked so good I just had to try it. My husband & I now eat this sandwich at least 3 or 4 days a week now! I LOVE it! We have been using ham & turkey, yum! Thanks for a great recipe!

This was so good! I used regular bologna instead of mortadella, only because of the cost, but it was still good. I bet the mortadella would have made it spectacular, but I couldn't shell out that kind of money. I will make this again!

The main point I want to make here is that this is a recipe which you can tweak, depending on what you like, and what you may have on hand. I made it with black forest ham (didn't shred it and a mix of havarti cheese and gruyere. I used some jarred roasted red peppers I chopped, added some minced garlic, red wine vinegar, a little sugar, and some hot giardiniera. Did not have the relish sit an hour, and grilled it in my panini maker. Served it with Giada's tomato soup and a glass of red wine, and I am a happy girl tonight!

I made it exactly as Ann did but I made a substition on the tomato relish. Next time I'm going to try some onion relish.

I saw Anne make this and was really excited to make it after reading the reviews - finally got all my ingredients together, followed the recipe to a T and was incredibly disappointed in this sandwich. I could have taken my family out to a nice lunch for the money we had into it and felt it wasn't any better than a gas station sandwich. Just a boring ham sandwich which got soggy after baking (all the steam was captured inside the foil - bad design. I think these might be okay (and stay crusty in a panini press, but definitely not worth all the effort and time involved. The pepper relish was even dull and flavorless and I did use the Fresno peppers. Sorry Anne - I love to watch your show, but this was not worth the time.

One of my favorite chefs on Food Channel. This sandwich idea was great, so delicious. The only criticism I heard from a guest was it tasted a bit to vinegary but he still loved the sandwich. Think I might cut back the vinegar in the relish to 1/4 cup next time. I have used the relish with a couple different meats...yesterday on pulled pork sandwiches. Oh my God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
