After watching my DH drool over Chef Anne's burger I told him to forget about it. The only lamb we ever see in the store are chops. The next day, amazingly, there was a single package of "lamb for stew". It looked like about 80/20 so I took that as a sign I should give it a go. Heaven must have been smiling on my effort, because I even managed to get a decent tomato! Only other changes I made to the recipe were to sub dried for fresh oregano, seeded cucumber for English cucumber and regular (not whole wheat pita loaves. Wow. It was sooo much better than I expected. Lots of extra tzatziki, but that isn't a problem around here. I could eat that stuff with a spoon! You should try this!
