This recipe is awesome ! We all (5 of us totally enjoyed it. My wife who usually does not eat any kind of fish besides sushi, totally loved it. I can't wait to get more ahi so that we can eat it again. Very, Very good!

This blows the idea that you have to spend hours in the kitchen to get a fabulous meal right out of the water. This was so quick to put together. I used sriracha because I didn't have sambal oelek, and it was still delicious. Also, I used nice thick tuna steaks that I bought at the grocery store for a pretty reasonable price. While I am sure the sushi quality tuna would have been better, if you don't have the budget for that, try it anyway. I added a touch of sweetness to some of the marinade and used it as a sauce to stir fry some veg to go along with it. They were yummy, too. A keeper!

I made this for dinner last night. It was really simple to throw together and quite tasty. I would certainly make this again.

Very good. Bought sushi grade tuna at 24.99 a pound. Easy prep. Would like some extra sauce to drizzle over tuna next time for just a touch more flavor.

yum! I've never seared tuna before and let my oil get WAY too hot and got a pretty nasty burn from popping oil. Oh well, dinner was an amazing celebratory meal, thanks for the recipe Anne!
