Made this for dinner last night after watching the show, and we loved it. I thought the addition of the potato was going to be odd, but it turned out to be a nice addition.

I made this today for lunch after watching the show. The flavor was great, but I used baby portobello and dried shitake mushrooms (that is all I had on hand. I am not sure if you need the potato. I may not have cooked the potato long enough because it did not have a smooth texture. The sherry was a great compliment to the mushrooms. I will make again but elimate the potato and see what happens. I love Anne's recipes so this may have been my mistake.
