A total hit! My husby claims they're the best dessert I've made so far. I had a bit of trouble with the foil so I might try making these without the foil next time.

These were wonderful! I'm sort of new to baking, but each batch gets better and stays together better (practice makes perfect!. I use parchment paper instead of the foil; there's no problem getting the finished product out of the pan, nor is there a big mess to clean up after. My husband asks me to make these all the time. I'd defintely recommend them. My only complaint is they're kind of time consuming & difficult to prepare since I don't have a food processor, but the result is defintely worth all of the work!

Easy to make and looked just like the picture but...there was no marriage of the ingredients as to taste. Butterscotch was the only flavor that stood out. Where was the lemon? Where was the butter? I tossed them out. Not worthy to share. I have a reputation to uphold.

These are awesome!! I made them for a Christmas party and my family liked them so much I had to make a second batch to have enough for the party. The lemon is a perfect counter to the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk. The butterscotch adds richness to the oatmeal crumb.

With a 5 star rating and 138 reviews, I thought that this recipe was a "sure thing;" however, I was terribly disappointed. These bars were way too lemony. I threw away the remainder of the batch after sampling. If, and only if I'm desperate, and I make these again, I think I would leave out all of the lemon and zest.

These bars really are quite yummy. They are definitely rich and not short on taste -- I will be making them again. One variation I did is I put dried cranberries in the top layer. They added a bit of tangy-ness and bite to the already rich bars. I knew that Anne's recipe would not dissapoint! I did cut them right after I pulled them out of the fridge -- you should definitely let them sit for at least ten minutes to cutting them is not so difficult.
