These had a great flavor, but they fell apart as I was cutting and removing them from the pan. I then let them sit at room temperature for a little bit and they it seemed a little better. They just didn't make a great presentation on the plate since they were so messy looking.

Very good. That's an understatement though. I made this recipe for my friends' trip to Canada, then a batch for friends visiting from out of state. They loved these bars and I plan on baking them for my Christmas packages. One batch will stretch for many gifts. Thanks!

I was pregnant when I found this recipe and I'll say this much: totally cured my pregnancy cravings. It was absolutely amazing. The only problem is they go too quickly!!!

They were DELICIOUS! VEry easy to make and definitely worth making again! Anne never seems to disappoint. She's probably the best chef on food network. Seriously, all the recipes i've tried from Anne are above the 5 star status. GREAT JOB, ANNE!

Besides being RIDICULOUSLY easy- these bars were sooooo Delicious! I brought an entire tray to the office and it was gone well before the day was over. Even the Foodies commented on how complex the flavor was. I like a good hint of lemon, next time i will add more. The tip about the foil was a life saver and- making this recipe by hand -IE no food processor wasn't all that big of a deal! This is my new go-to bring-over recipe. I made it the night before and let it sit in the fridge.

These were a complete disappointment. I made them following the recipe exactly and they were terrible, they were dry and burned.
They ended up in the trash!

I was so disappointed in how these turned out! I made them for a birthday party. The bottom crust was hard as a rock and the top crust never came together. It was a crumbled unattractive mess. The flavor was so good but the presentation was sad. This was not an "easy" recipe either. Maybe if you're a chef but not the everyday kitchen baker. I wish I hadn't spent the time and money on this.
