Brought them to a party... everyone loved them! It does help to have a large food processor though. Mine is tiny (3 cup I believe, I had to break it into 4 batches! :/

Excellent bar cookies! Were a big hit. I could eat several in one sitting if I allowed myself to. Everyone loved them! Make sure to put foil in bottom of baking dish so they don't stick to the bottom when baking.

I brought these to work along with 4 other desserts. These were by far the top pick. They weren't at all hard to make. Just be sure to have a large food procesor. Mine is small and I had difficulty pulsing all the ingredients. I had to do two batches.

My family and friends love this bar. I always get rave reviews on it. My husband, who does not like sweets very much just loves these bars.

These were really good. The first time I made them I followed the recipe exactly and they were delicious. I've since made them with chocolate chips and dried cherries. It's great base recipe that you can play around with. I agree that refrigeration is the key to them holding their shape. I chilled mine for several hours. Great recipe!

I thought these were really good but, I was concerned about the sweetness of the oatmeal crust and topping. Two words, ADD SALT! By adding the salt, about 1 teaspoon, it really cut down on the sweetness from the butterscotch!

My family liked this bar cookie, but I didn't use butterscotch chips, I used chocolate chips and omitted the lemon and cinnamon. They were wonderful and refrigerating them is the key to success.

Make these butterscotch bars if you love sweetness. They are very sweet indeed but very tasty as well. A previous review mentioned white chocolate chips added to the topping. I did this and they were a fantastic addition.

This was AWFUL! I followed the exact recipe and mine came out perfect...just like the picture. They were just plain gross though. I did not enjoy this at all. I wound up throwing a lot out. I bake all the time. This just wasn't a good recipe. *For those who will try this: Definitely let it cool and then chill it in fridge or freezer in order for it not to crumble on you.
