Anne Burrell is a fabulous host. It's the only show I never miss. Her recipes always work and the flavors are right on. Her cooking tips are time savers and you can't beat her personality and enthusiasm. She's fun! We'd love to frequent her restaurant, we'd be regulars! However, we can create her great flavors in our own kitchen. Saw Annes' appearance on Food Network Star. She's great!

Was surprised at how easy this was to make! Used frozen berries for the topping with whipped cream. It was so good. Husband and I have always disargeed on what shortcake for berries - well, no longer, as this will be the choice that both of us liked. It is sort of like a pound cake but moister. Doesn't taste like olive oil but mine did have a little green tint. Anne always comes up with winning recipes.

Very moist and tender cake. My husband loved it! I did
substitute fresh orange juice for the sweet sherry and used more zest than the recipe called for. The blueberry topping was also great, however, I feel any fruit in season can be used. The olive oil was very subtle
and not oily in any way. Give it a try, I think you will
    like it!
