This is a great way to use that second piece of puff pastry that comes in the package. These are super simple and have a great chewy texture, but a slight crisp from the cooked sugar. I like that they aren't overly sweet and great with a cup of coffee.

Wow!!! These were so good and so easy. My puff pastry was a long way past its prime, but you'd never know it. After reading the other reviews, I used half the amount of orange zest, rolled the pastry on Saran Wrap and put it in the freezer for 1/2 hour. Mine were perfect after baking 10 minutes on the first side and 4 minutes on the second. I'm going to try freezing the dough to have on hand whenever hubby and I crave these.

My new favorite cookie! This recipe is fast, easy, and tastes delicious! A very delicate cookie, but loaded with flavor. I was also extremely impressed with how long these cookies lasted on the counter in a tupperware container. Don't panic if your cookies turn out a bit darker than you would like...these are the best ones...all caramelized and crunchy! The zest of one orange may be a bit much for some, as the flavor is very strong, but the zest of 1/2 of an orange is just as yummy! Thanks Anne - keep the recipes coming!

One of the Best Days remembered was a lunch I took to the water for my husband and his Best Friend,Steve. They devoured Everything!Work had really been brutal that morning. I never ate 2 of the Palmiers.Yet, seeing them enjoy so much was a delight. Not long after that Time,Steve's truck was struck and He went to Heaven.Long for those halycon days.Laughter, smiles,Thank You, Chef Anne~I can now make my own and we can still remember w/Love a cherished friend and a great day of special Moments...

These cookies were very good except my husband felt that the zest of 1 orange was too much, and overpowered the taste of the cinnamon. I will use only the zest of 1/2 orange the next time I make these, and add extra cinnamon to the sugar. To save on the mess, I put cling wrap down first, then the sugar, puff pastry, then more sugar and rolled with the rolling pin. I used the cling wrap after I had rolled the palmiers up, and put in the freezer for about 15 minutes. They then cut perfectly, and then baked to a crispy perfection.

Amazing!!! These cookies are great, they are perfect for after dinner or with ur morning coffee. I used the entire bowl of e sugar mixture on one sheet of puff pastry, I cooked the cookies on one side for 12 min, flipped them and cooked them on the opposite side for 5 minutes. I kept a very close eye on them and took them out right when they turned golden brown. Also, i have a convection oven which cooks things faster. . .I hope this helps! Overall, a easy quick tasty recipe!! Need to try
