I have made this twice. I LOVE it!!! I do not use the lemon at all since my husband doesn't like it. My kids really enjoyed it both times :- I think it would be good with cinnamon, but I like it as is. The crisp on top is my favorite! I always cook it an extra 8-10 minutes without burning to get it really crunchy.

I followed the recipe except for the raisins. Instead of using ramekins, I simply baked it in a 9 x 9 pan. But I was sorely disappointed in the taste. It didn't even dawn on me while I was mixing it up that there were no spices...cinnamon, nutmeg or allspice. The result...totally boring. If I make this again I will definitely add cinnamon and probably a bit of allspice. I also had to bake it nearly an hour, and yes, my oven temperature is accurate.

I used only half a lemon and just a little zest because I read previous reviews and I liked what I tasted without using the full amount. I think a full lemon with all the zest of it would have been too over powering for me and I am a lemon lover. I also added cinnamon and nutmeg to the crisp because they go so well with peaches to me. This crisp screamed CINNAMON. Otherwise, very easy dessert to make. I think I do like Ina's the best though. Also, I left out the rasins because I don't like them in desserts. Just a personal preference. I didn't have almonds so I used pecans which I liked a lot. Don't forget your pinch of salt because it enhances your baking. I notice from reviews that a lot of people think that Anne is over salting, but she only uses kosher salt which is half as salty as table salt. I've started using only kosher salt and I use quite a bit of salt now because of it being less salty.

Good but a little too much lemon and butter. The second time I made it I cut the lemon to 1/2 a lemon and the butter down to 1/4 a cup and I liked it much better. The amount in the original just way overpowered the taste of the peaches.

Yum yum yum.....Mmmmm mmmmm mmmmm. This was excellent!!! I've made it twice now and will make it again when peaches are back in season (you have to use fresh peaches. One of the best comfort deserts i've ever had.

Made it for company, only thing I added was the thick pie sugar on the topping for a more professional look and taste. Loved it. Better than cobbler.

I was really disappointed with this recipe. I thought it tasted great---but I couldn't really taste the peaches, and it's a peach crisp. The lemon and raisins were the star of the show. If you put enough butter and sugar in something, it's going to taste good, but I thought it was overkill. The topping was not crisp because it contained too much butter and it was just sooo sweet. I'm really surprised it has an overall five star rating. I might like it better with apples, but I had some really great peaches that I wasted on this recipe. :(

Made this last night for a dinner party. Everyone loved it! I used the individual ramekins, topped with a small scoped of vanilla gelato and a Tablespoon of Amaretto. Left out the raisins. My peaches were very large and the ramekins are about 6 oz. Made 12. I have tried several of Anne recipes and they are all terrific. I love watching her.

My family loved this recipe. They have asked me to save this recipe and I will definetly make it again. I also used a baking dish instead of the ramekins and it turned out perfect with extra baking time.

I made this recipe tonight for my family. I didn't have any ramekins, so used a casserole dish instead and it came out delicious. I did have to bake it for an extra 10 minutes for the top to get brown and crispy. But it turned out to be a delicious dessert that everyone loved! I will make it again.
