    So easy to make and the flavor is off the charts! I wasn't too crazy about adding the lemon zest & lemon juice, but trust me, it MADE the dish! So much complex flavor, yet traditional at the same time. I would def make this again...probably next weekend ;

    I like this recipe and it is good. I had a few challenges such as finding really ripe peaches. I think my dish was slightly tart because of this. I also found the topping to be too mushy. I carefully added the water but it still became mushy and I had to spead out the topping over the dish. All in all though, the ingredients were really good and my family liked it. I would make it again but with super ripe peaches and try to make the topping more crumbly.

    This was so delicious and super easy...I made it in the toaster oven! I used peaches and blueberries and can't wait to try other fruit combos! The topping was super yummy.

    I totally agree with E from NJ. I also love to watch Anne, everything she cooks makes me want to fix it. I just happen to have all ingredients on hand. It came out perfect (I used an 8 x 8 baking pan out of convience. My husband hasn't stopped talking about it. Thanks again Anne. By the way your home made ravioli with mushrooms are to die for.

    The recipe as written is great. I omitted the raisins and subbed walnuts for almonds because that's what I had on hand. I also baked this in an 8x8 casserole dish instead of individual ramekins. This turned out great and everyone really liked it. One adjustment I think I will make in the future though is to leave out the lemon juice and zest. I made this with fresh GA peaches that were very ripe and unbelieveably sweet and I felt that the acid from the lemon juice and zest was somewhat overpowering and took away from the natural sweetness of the peaches. Of course this is just personal preference and will not take away from my rating. Some people may like the little bit of zing from the lemon juice,and it was good but I prefer to let the sweetness of the peaches shine through on it's own.

    And that is because with the departure of summer, so go the wonderful fruits of summer (Yeah, I know, there is always frozen, but there is nothing as good as the real thing This crisp receipe is absolutely the best on the planet. It is perfedt everytime and it could not be any easier..There are so many ways of switching it up too..Today I did peach and bing cheeries and with the exception of pitting the cheeries it was a huge success. I have done strawberries/peches,blueberries,blackberries and raspberries, all to die for and of course you can throw any kind of apples.into mix, or just do a variety of apples by themselfs..My whold freezer is full of them and they freeze very well, just remove about 2 hours before serving, make up some fresh whipped creme and you have a desert good enough for anyone on your list..Oh if if whipped cream is not your thing, try some softebed Haggen Dias on top, but be sure to take of out of freezer about 10 minutew
