Potato flavor shines through without the extra calories of cream and heavier cheese. Nice presentation with the sliced wedge on the plate, and "seconds" were also flavorful after sitting on a cutting board for 20+ minutes. My pan choice was at first a quandry: 8" of total flat bottom width or 8" total rim width. I went with the 8" total flat bottom width once I saw how many slices came from 3 russets and my 8" total rim width would not hold it all. Directions are perfect. even though it's pretty last minute prep, the timing was fine with pre-heating grill, grilling steaks and letting all rest before serving. Will defijnitely make again!

Will recommend to my cooking friends. Explicit instructions were well written. Peg

I am so happy that Anne Burrell is back! I just love her show, energy and passion for food!

These potatoes were extremely delicious. Very close to Au Gratin Potatoes. Surprisingly, I did not miss the cream from Au Gratin potatoes.

I did not have a non-stick pan so the bottom layer stuck to the pan on my flip. I removed the layer and continued cooking. Even with my blunder this dish was absolutely delicious! I will try again with a non-stick pan so that I can also achieve the color on the top layer. Definitely a keeper!

I followed the recipe exactly and the potatoes fell apart when I tried to turn it. I was never able to turn it over. It also took longer than the recipe called for. They also didn't have a lot of flavor. The potatoes stuck to the pan.

I made Pommes Chef Anne this morning for brunch after I saw it on Anne's show. It was really easy, and my family loved it! Nice alternative to hashbrowns. My family likes their hashbrowns crispy and these were perfect! I've already had rquests to make it again! Thanks Anne - love your show, keep up sharing the Secrets!
