I was really excited to try this recipe since it had apples in it. I made it tonight for dinner and LOVED the pork chops, but the apples & onion sauce was not really worth it to me. I think I will just use a good quality applesauce next time, and just warm it up and serve it on the side. It's not worth spending the time or ingredients for what it tasted like...it was good...just not worth it. I did add salt, pepper & garlic powder to the pork chops & let them marinate before searing them. My family loved the pork chops...so tender!

I thought this was really good except too much onion, it was so overpowering! Also, it is difficult to find cider when it's not around the holidays. I love apples and pork chops though, Yum!

This recipe was fabulous! It was easy to make and the apples and onions with a hint of cinnamon and red pepper flake were the star of the dish!

Easy and quick. Had good flavor, but not astounding. Good everyday dinner.

This recipe called for very few ingredients but still had amazing flavor to it. I'm not a big fan of pork so I have only one other pork recipe that I truly liked and made more than once. It is now two with this recipe. It is easy to make, and it tastes great, this is a keeper for sure.

My boyfriend made this a few nites ago and it was AMAZING! Once again, Anne Burrell delivers a fantastic recipe that needs no tweaking. We had to use apple juice instead of cider, and it took my BF some time to reduce it down. We also used Fuji apples because that's what we had on hand. But once everything came together, it was awesome! My BF, our son and I gobbled up every last bite. This will definitely be a staple in our house!!

Easy to make, the onions and apples are a deliicous way to dress up the pork chops. I did not have rosemary on hand, but I didn't miss it, i did add more cinnamon, because we love it. I had no leftovers.
