Wow. Wonderful. We just had hamburgers on the grill and made these as our side. Very, very good. Awesome recipe, yet simple and easy.

The only recipe I ever had was passed down from Grandmother to Mother and both added flour. Wow, what a difference making them Anne's way. I taste the potato and they crisp up nicely and lighter than previous potato pancakes I cooked. After doing the test pancake I decided to add a bit more salt, a lot more freshly ground black pepper and I added dried parsley and fresh finely chopped dill. I thought they were even better. Anne you rock!

These are the saddest potato pancakes I have ever seen or tasted. Not a fan of the texture. And these are seriously lacking in any good taste as written and even with copious additions from my spice rack. Skip these. Gross.

These go gresat with the Balsamic Brisket! Chunchy potatoes and soft beef. MMMMMMMM Great contrast! Also makes for a great looking presentation!

This is a great recipe. It enabled me to prepare the potatoes in advance due to the addition of vinegar~ I used distilled white vinegar, however. This way the potatoes didn't turn gray and I could add the eggs and mashed potatoes; quickly fry them without pulling out food processor, etc. (I used it to grate the potatoes. Reading another review which mentioned pepper....of course add S&P to your personal taste!!

Loved this recipe! My mom used to make these and when I made them tonight (with the balsamic beef brisket Anne demonstrated on the same show, the pancakes were great! Very easy to make, and it is a good idea to do the "test" pancake to check for flavoring. Thanks, Anne!

There isn't a recipe of Anne's that I haven't loved and this one is no exception. By far the best potato pancakes I've ever made. LOVE you Anne!

These are with out a doubt the best potato pancakes I have ever had. They are just like Anne Burrell said, warm and soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside. The brisquet was to die for! We had no idea what to have for dinner and saw the show. This morning I got up and had another pancake. Oh my God, Anne Burrell you rock!
