While these ended up looking fancy on a plate in the end, I had trouble with cooking the insides. When the outsides looked done the insides were still kind of gooey. They were also too small for a normal sized scoop of ice cream. I fit about a spoon full and that's it.

This recipe was extremely simple and easy to put together. The results were beautifully light, fluffy profiteroles that housed my ice cream (I made half with vanilla and half with coffee ice cream perfectly. With the chocolate sauce in the recipe, these tasty treats are sure to impress and please. The only thing that gave me a bit of trouble was formation. However a quick youtube search for "profiteroles" yielded Ina Garten making her version and I based my piping on what she did.

These were so simple to make (I made the pastry puff part ahead of time and made the chocolate sauce right when it was time to eat dessert. They looked and tasted so elegant. Love it!

I have enjoyed Food Network for years. I have used and appreciated many recipes. I should have written reviews before but am sorry, have never taken the time. I am finally doing it, I'm commending this recipe of Anne Burrell's because I have been looking for this recipe since my ex-mother-in-law gave me hers 50 years ago. I threw out the recipe with the ex and have regretted it ever since.

Since then I have tried every chef on your network without success---the profiteroles have not been what I was looking for; and, some even collapsed after removing from my oven.

This is it! As I read the recipe and then made it, it brought back my making it with Doris. This IS the same recipe she used and it's marvelous.

I followed Anne's plan and filled the cream puffs with vanilla ice cream and I drizzled hot chocolate sauce on top. DELICIOUS! The next time will be for a luncheon and fill them with chicken salad (Doris' specialty.

Thank you Anne and Food Network,

    Marion G.

This is very easy and yummy. My family all like it and want me to make it again. But next time, I will use the mixer to do the work. A bit tired though.

I'll never make a full-size creme puff again. Just follow the directions and you'll end up with beautiful, bite sized, melt-in-your-mouth dessert. The chocolate sauce adds a touch of delicious elegance. Can't wait to take them to work tomorrow.

I have never seen Anne Burrell cooking show before but I guess I saw the right one yesterday. I just finished making and eating these guys. I follwed the recipe to the tee and boy were they awesome!!! I did use pastry filling instead to make them my way. I will make a batch for work for tomorrow.

I love watching Anne make everything. She is a joy to watch and makes everything look so easy. So, I was a little leery of making these - I had always
thought - whenever I ate these - that they must be hard to make. They were
simple and delicious................... I had no trouble following the recipe or any problems with the outcome....... Thanks ANNE.
