Anne, I have learned to trust your recipes and can't wait to try them. Your consistency and clarity make it an adventure to cook. I make these vegs once a week sometimes using Broccoli crowns with the stems. The only thing I do different is raise the oven temp to 450* and cook the same amount of time. It leaves a little "crunch" that way. Love those Sun Chokes!!!!

I never had Jerusalem artichokes (Sunchokes before- they're delicious! This is a great recipe. My entire family loved it - even the kids. My nephew who hates brussel srouts, had two servings. The only negative was that it took me going to 3 supermarkets to find the Sunchokes - that's what Whole Foods refers to it, but worth the time a spent looking for them. I'll be making this recipe again later this week... it's just that good.

Anne, this is the best roasted vegetable recipie ever! I have long roasted a variety of root veggies and usually to accaim. However when I watched this episode and reminded myself to make your version I was in for a suprise. Not only is it good, but my guests and family rave over it. I have changed the ingredients in subsequent makings of it and in all cases the technique is the key factor. Your show, and you in particular are the best example of what the foodnetwork should aspire to be for its viewers!!

A very easy recipe, but an incredibly rich taste, the jerusalem artichokes impart a sweet "roasty" flavor to this side dish. Would make a great accompaniment to a vast number of meat dishes. I have seen every episode of Secrets Of A Restaurant Chef, I like the fact that every recipe is realistic in its preparation. I Intend on trying almost all of of them. Hats off to Anne !

This was great, I had never had Jerusalem artichokes, and figured they would be hard to find, but maybe would try with just cauliflower and sprouts, but got lucky at Whole Foods and found the artichokes so I was sold and got to try them!! Terrific combo, and "brown food does taste good"

Unfortunately I couldn't find the Sunchokes (Jerusalem artichokes - looked at 2 stores! - so I substitued a zucchini that I had in the fridge. The combo of brussel sprouts, cauliflower, and zucchini were absolutely fabulous. I added a touch of crushed pepper flake at the end for a little heat. Roasting veg is my favorite! This was a great combo and a way to use not-so-used veggies!

My husband and I love roasted vegetables but we'd never tried to roast Jerusalem artichokes. The combination of these with the cauliflower and broccoli was great. We now have a new veggie to add to the "roasters list."

Thanks Anne, this recipe is fabulous! I had some oyster mushrooms in the fridge so I also added them to the recipe and used a small bit of bacon drippings I had left over to drizzle along with the EVOO. Oh, wow! what a carmelized and sweet dish to sink your teeth into. Very satisfying and different. I'll make this over and over. My family loved it! You're the best! I look forward to watching you each weekend - love your style and the wonderful food you share. Can't wait to try more recipes!

I personally LOVE veggies. Never tried "Chokes"...as it was, when I was at the store, I couldn't remember the 3rd veggie (brussel sp....so just got the caluiflower and the chokes. WOW. If you like the "cabbage" taste...then
the B/S would probably only add more flavor....can't wait!!!!!

BIG YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go figure if @ 50 you've never tried a certain veg!!!!!
