Tasty, without the addition of sugar. Great for a diabetic husband. Did take about 10 min longer for the sweet potatoes, but definitely a keeper.

OMG! Anne!!!! This is the BEST freakin' sweet potato recipe EVER! If I could give it ten stars, I would. I had just come home from the store with a bag of sweet potatoes, wondering what the heck I was going to do with them. Your show was on while I was unpacking the groceries, so it was perfect timing since I had all the other ingredients in the house. They were SO good my husband darn near fell out of chair. (Sweet potatoes are his favorite. I made them again a few days later, even froze the leftovers. I've experimented with adding a little honey or maple syrup, and/or orange zest. I've also tried substituting thyme for rosemary and cayenne. Anyway you make them, this recipe is beyond brilliant! The technique is so clever too; going to experiment with other fruits/potatoes. You're my sweet potato hero Anne! Thank you!

Absolutely delicious combination of flavors and very simple to make. Made per recipe with exception of cutting back cayenne a bit. We're folks who love spicy food, but cutting back was a good idea here for our palates. Big fans of sweet potatoes, we eat them nearly all year, we're always open to a new recipe and this one was a winner. Next time we might sub Aleppo pepper for the cayenne.
