This is a very easy and delicious recipe, delivering maximum flavor for minimal effort. Anne Burrell truly delivers the secrets of professional chefs - or at least her secrets - of great cooking. For Angie, who seemed to be a bit petulant and out of sorts: 1. I believe the main purpose of "Comments and Reviews" is to provide feedback on the recipe. That said, it did not appear that you had even tried it and therefore, your comments were not relative. I venture to guess that no one cares about your opinion of the show or - incredibly - the commercials. 2. If you insist upon posting such criticism, I would suggest that you be very careful about your spelling. The word "passed" would be correctly spelled "past". Such errors make you look rather foolish.

Can I put a Calphalon non-stick omelette pan in the oven for the fritatta or do I need a different kind of pan? I really want to make this recipe but I only have non stick pans in the house and don't want to ruin one of them!

btw...I love Anne and her style as well!

I want to stick up for Anne too! This woman knows what she's doing and isn't just "winging it" and giving us bad recipes! Everything I've made of Anne's recipes I do again! I just love watching her shows and it's entertaining as well as learning something new each time... and i've been cooking for more than a couple decades! Thanks Anne!

I love this recipe as a base. Much room to play with.

To the person who had such negative comments about the chef. Why are so uptight? Cooking is fun.....I wonder what why you say about me, if you were to come over to my house and saw me talking to the chicken I happenned to be cooking?

Lighten up. Do you like her food? If yes, what does it matter what she does when cooking it!

Easy and delicious! I used eight eggs and made it in a 12" pan. It yielded six generous pieces. I did not have the hot sausage, so used mild Italian. Next time I'll use the hot Italian sausage.

I just love Anne! I've learned a lot from watching her show!

A little too much pepper for me, but still an excellent choice and so easy to make!

I made this Fritatta tonight and was really thrilled with how it turned out. The only thing I wondered was, would everything fit in a 10 inch pan? I used a 14 inch pan and it was filled.

I used some organic hot Italian sausage and it gave it the right amount of spice and there wasn't too much "fat" in the sausage.

This is a comment on the show and a response to the few who criticize Chef Anne. Her unusual style and antics are proof that she is an accomplished chef who has been tried by fire. Being a chef is a very, very stressful profession. I'm sure her unusual style is an outgrowth of her coping skills and developed from needing to be an unbeat contributor and/or leader to a hard-pressed team, night after night. You can tell she knows what's she's doing and has lots of experience. I've learned a lot. Thanks Chef Anne and thanks Foodnetwork for her show.

This for Angie. You need to lighten up and pay attention to what Anne is cooking. She is a great chef and her recipes are right on. She obviously loves what she is doing, and I really appreciate her enthusiasm. I enjoyed watching the show and will definitly make the recipes. I think Anne rocks.
