A little bland. Could not find soba noodles so I used whole wheat pasta. Not sure if that made a difference. Added a little more sesame oil, soy sauce and rice vinegar on noodles at the end. Lot of prep work for an ok dish.

very nice flavors, but I overcooked my soba a tad - ok maybe more than a tad. My fault, will make again.

This was a great recipe as all of Anne's recipes are....she is one of the best, and on the money chefs on the FoodNetwork. The only thing I added to the tuna were a combination of light brown and black sesame seeds.....after you take the tuna out of the marinade just roll the pieces of tuna to coat, then cook as directed. I always do this with tuna and it adds that extra dimension and a bit of sesame crunch......I think Anne would definitely approve.

This was a wonderful dish, Love, Love Loved it!
To "robbins": I would like to know why some one would choose to leave a bad rating here because they decided not even to make it... it doesn't have that ingredient (Sambal because it was used in the companion TUNA recipe! That being said, If you want to use an ingredient that isn't originally included, GO FOR IT no one is stopping you from experimenting with the recipe! But really, don't rate it if you haven't even made it!

Noodles were very easy to prepare and came out great! Used the marinade on Salmon as that was what I had. Looking forward to trying the tuna.

Made this Recipe today and it was yummy. I wanted to add more protein so I added shrimp. It's a very colorful dish and perfect for a crowd. Didn't make the tuna yet, but will soon.

I made this dish for some friends last night and it was awesome. A real crowd pleaser. I also included a little of the sambal in the noodles, which really gave them the kick I like. In addition, I also made the marinade with some chicken breasts since some of my guests do not like fish. The chicken was really good, and a WHOLE lot less expensive than the $24/lb sushi grade ahi.

This was very easy, tasty and beautiful dish. It has a lot of flavor and textures. I would definitely put this in the "make again & again list".

I haven't made this yet, but in response to 'robbins'..you are referring to the sambal oelek which was an ingredient in the seared tuna. The OTHER dish she cooked!
