super yummy indeed best cookie i have ever made! My favorite part was the hint of cinnamon i have never thought of using cinnamon in a chocolate chip cookie before now i will never make them with out! Only hitch was i could not find a block of chocolate at my grocery store so i ended up using dark chocolate chips but they were still very chocolatey because i added extra chocolate chips ;

These are good cookies! They had so much less oats than normal oatmeal cookies and they are more like choc chip cookies with nuts and some oats. I made them with coconut oil instead of butter, which I always do nowadays. So good!

I didn't have a mixer, (used a fork a plastic spat, a large mixing bowl (used a wok, a good knife for chopping (bread knife, or 12 oz dark chocolate chunk (used 4 oz milk choc chips. It was very tough but SOO worth it. Made for husband but its fathers bday, theyre so delicious I'm giving them to him! I'll definitely make another batch tomorrow! Thank you Anne!!

Excellent! This was the best cookie recipe! I did not add nuts so that my 20 month old son can have them (choking hazard. It was delicious. I used half semi-sweet and half milk chocolate chunks and it was great. I am an experienced baker/cook but am cursed in cookies! Thanks for breaking the curse!

AMAZING cookies. Very easy to make and the best chocolate chip/chunk tasting cookies I've ever had.

Great recipe. A big hit with my husband. I have made the recipe using a package of dark chocolate chips instead of the chunks and have also cut down on the fat (sorry Ann by using one stick of butter and 1/2 cup nonfat sour cream. The cookies turn out a bit more moist but still delicious.

These cookies turned out great and tasted great too. Sometimes cookies flatten out and spread to a thin consistency. Not these babies - chunky and lumpy, right out of the oven. They were crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. I did not use dark chocolate because my family is not a fan, instead I used a bag of Nestle's semi sweet chocolate chunks. Perfect with a tall glass of milk - yummy!

Amazing recipe! Will keep this as my basic oatmeal cookie dough. I agree that it is more like a chocolate chip / oatmeal combo rather than a true oatmeal cookie -- don't try to alter the basic dough recipe into what it's not! As for bits, I added some chopped bing cherries to the whole mix, and it gave it a nice tang.

WOW! I honestly thought before tasting these little babies 'now how good can these really be?' Well, ding-dang! They are so yummy. 5 stars from me....easy, had all the ingredients in my pantry and a step above other cookies.
