I wanted an oatmeal cookie, this was not it. it was like bits of cake, with a tiny amount of oatmeal in it. The cookie wasn't bad, just, not what an oatmeal cookie should be.

I made this recipe with just regular semi sweet Choc chips. My family of five's new favorite oatmeal cookie recipe. Trust me....It is hard to please five with one recipe. Very yummy.

I varied very far from this recipe. I used cranberry and m&m's instead. Not big on nuts in my cookies (allergy thing. But, my brown sugar became more like molasses in the mixing process and I ended up with molasses, oatmeal, cranberry and m&m cookies. Still pretty good!

I love these cookies, I have made them a couple times now. I am not a huge chocolate fan so I used craisins in place of the chocolate, they were awesome. I also added a 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice because I love extra spice. This recipe is in my recipe files for good :

What a great recipe! These cookies were so tasty - loved the hint of cinnamon. And the sprinkle of salt on top really blended nicely with the chocolate flavor. I added about 1 cup of craisins, which added just a bit of tartness. I also cut back on the chocolate (only added about 1 cup.

I made these cookies today and they are without a doubt THE BEST cookies I've ever made! The only thing different I did was to use Lindt's Bettersweet Chocolate Bar with Sea Salt. These are amazing! This is the only chocolate chip cookie recipie I will ever use. Thanks, Anne!

These cookies are amazing! You get the best oatmeal cookie and the best chocolate chip cookie you've ever tasted all in one. The cinnamon is very pronounced and the salt just takes it over the top. 3 dozen cookies is a lot so I froze them. I take them out a few at a time and they taste just as good as the first day. My chocolate chip cookie freak husband loves them!

This is an AWESOME recipe! I can leave my old one behind. I made these with Lindt 70%. Definitely worth the more expensive chocolate. :-
