Delicious! Great fall food. Made the kitchen smell really good and got the family excited to try it. Easy to make. A definite keeper!

This was DELICIOUS!!! I made it tonight for dinner, with apple stuffed chicken. My husband and I loved it, and will be keeping it around for future meals!

I'm always looking for new and different side dishes and this one really "fills the bill". It is delicious! I had actual sweet potatoes on hand when I made this, so the color was fairly neutral, but you could taste EVERYTHING - the bacon, the onions, the apple and the sweet potato. I do think it needs a bit more seasoning and I'm anxious to try some of the suggestions posted here. Still, if you want to try this as is, you'll be quite pleased. It's also very easy to put together. THANKS ANNE!

This was very good, but in tasting before serving, I too, felt it needed to be a bit zippier. I added 1/2 c. of hard cider. This put the dish over the top! I served it topped with chili rubbed pork tenderloin slices with garlic, bourbon and brown sugar glaze.

An awesome side dish to serve along with the Maple Glazed Chicken. Roasting the yams gave it alot of flavor and of course the bacon tasted great.

I never in a million years would have thought to use bacon with apples but man oh man was this good! Could have ate the whole bowl by myself! As a matter of fact, next time I make it, it's all mine! Can't wait to try it out on company for Thanksgiving!!!!!! Love you Anne

Made this last night with Anne's Herb Roast Chicken and it was so easy. The perfect side for someone that wants meat and potatoes in a new way. I didn't remember to pick up the pumpkin seeds so I used sunflower seeds and they were fine. Make sure the pan is good and hot when you add the sweet potatoes; shake the pan to loosen the caramelizing sweet potatoes before moving around with spatula.

Tried your hash last night with the ham I had baked. Different and very tasty.

I LOVE this recipe! It is so perfect for autumn, and was a wonderful accompaniment to the maple glazed chicken. I WILL be making this again!

As other reviews, this hash was awesome, even to those who dont normally like sweet potatoes. Next time, I will add another apple because everyone liked to eat a bite of each flavor. Sliced the apples rather than cubed...just for fun. Forgot to add the pumpkin seeds after I roasted them (brain freeze!, and I probably wont add them next time since it was just so good the way it was. Thanks Anne Burrell!
