I'm planning on having a burger theme for July 4th so I'm trying out all types of burgers. I was a little skeptical about these being a "wow" from the ingredients, but I read the reviews, and it is Chef Anne, so I gave them a try. As usual, she's da bomb. They were delicious. They looked pretty wet before adding the water, so I added probably less than 1/4 cup. They held together during frying and came out great. I would definitely use the Sambal.

Love this, the only change I made was to make it into a meatloaf. When it was cooked thru, put cheese on top and put it back in the oven until melted. Very good, my new meatloaf go to. Great job Ann

Family and I enjoyed these burgers. The crunch of the water chestnuts really added to the experience. As I'm not much of a turkey burger fan I was surprised at how good they were considering the meat. For a turkey burger I give it a five. As a delicious dish, I give it a low four or perhaps a high 3. Do I plan on using my limited time in the kitchen to make these again? I doubt it as I would rather keep searching for the best dishes. However, If I were making turkey burgers these a few times a month, then yes, but that's not my plan.

Yammahamma, these turkey burgers are beyond fantastic. Full of flavor, juicy, great texture. Made them last week, and hubby actually requested them again. He invited his "Burger Connoisseur" friend over for dinner to try them. "These are made from turkey???" He asked. Only substitution I made was sriracha sauce for the sambal oeleek. Really, best turkey burger I have ever had, and I have had quite a few!

Simply fantastic. The flavors are all on point, best turkey burger I have ever made. I used Frank's Red Hot sauce instead of sambal oelek and it was great. Would make every week,

I have made this recipe twice and oh my gosh it is so delicious and the best turkey burger I ever ate, thank you Chef Anne Burrell! I did change two ingredients, instead of using soy sauce I used coconut aminos and instead of using sambal oelek I used one minced habanero pepper. They came out so moist and delicious....thanks again Chef Anne Burrell.

Oh my God. SO delicious. I followed the recipe exactly, and it was amazing. The only thing I didn't do was make a tester burger, I didn't really have time to do it with 2 kids under 2: Flavors are perfect!

made these saturday for the superbowl on sunday, but there was so much food i ended up freezing them until yesterday. they came out great, and the flavor was even better than the practice burger i made saturday. i have never been a ground turkey fan, but these have totally changed my mind...i mixed light mayo with some red chili paste and red chili sauce, on a toasted bun....i may never go back to regular hamburgers again...yummy!!!

Made these last night for dinner for my husband and myself and they were fantastic! Very juicy and you could almost not even tell it was turkey. So flavorful! These will definitely be made again and again.
