I made beef hamburgers for my family and was afraid that I'd miss out on the flavor by making a turkey burger, but not so with this recipe! It was excellent! I made just 1 at first to see how it tasted. I liked it so much that I made up the rest of the turkey with this recipe and froze individual burgers so they'll be ready next time! Thanks, Chef Anne!

Delicious!! I love the crunch of the water chestnuts, but my hubby isn't as big of a fan as I am of them. So, I cut the amount in 1/2 and they were still yummy. I'm thinking about making these into meatballs and serving them as appetizers as well. There is so much flavor, that they can stand alone. Enjoy!

Made these tonight finally..after watching Anne make them several weeks ago. The flavors go very well together and they stay moist. Delicious...will pass this recipe on to friends.

This is a terrific turkey burger! The Asian undertones are delicious. The crunch of the water chestnuts is a happy surprise. I discovered sambal oelek watching Ming Tsai on Simply Ming, and when Anne used it, I knew I had to try these burgers. Thank you, other reviewers, for your helpful comments. I used 1/8 cup soy sauce, and about 1/8 cup water, and my burgers were plenty moist and well seasoned. I used parsley instead of cilantro because parsley grows in my garden. The best tip Anne gives is making the tester patty, because it gives you a sense of how wet the patty will be and how best to cook it to temp without a smoke alarm going off. I definitely will make these again. Another winner from Anne.

These are rock star turkey burgers! Like a few other reviewers, I went easy on the soy and chili sauce (I used Thai sweet chili garlic sauce, My taster patty saved the day because it needed quite a bit more, even though I only had one pound of ground turkey. I left the water chestnuts out as I'm not a huge fan unless they're in a stir fry. Next time I will use a less lean package of turkey as the texture of the 1.5 gram of fat per serving isn't as pleasant. Rock star burgers from a rock star chef!

Oh wow, these were SO good! I omitted the onions but followed the rest exactly. Just the perfect amount of heat and the crunch from the water chestnuts made the perfect texture. We will definitely make these again!!!

Yumptious!! And by leaving out the cheese and the sambal mayonnaise, and serving on an Arnolds sandwich thin it's 10 Weightwatchers points on the points plus program!
