This was fabulous! Used a frozen bag of mixed berries to make the syrup. Served this to guests who went wild. To quote one of my guests..."be still my heart!" It's easy and a real delight to eat!

Loved the recipe, especially the strawbery syrup. It was a HUGE hit in my house for brunch.

I'm glad she pointed out that frozen strawberries could be used as well in the winter months. I'll keep making this at least one weekend day per month.

SERIOUSLY???!!!! I made this for Easter breakfast and This was one of the best french toast I have ever made!!!! I did cheat and use nutella instead of the melted chocolate just because I had it on hand and I love nutella. The strawberry sauce was also amazing! This is the second recipe of Anne's that I have made and I have not been disappointed yet. This is going to be my Christmas & Easter & pretty much any holiday breakfast go-to....Maybe even Memorial day. Lol.

Wonderful, fruity sauce, and so easy to make! I poured this sauce over some angel food cake and everyone loved it! The strawberries weren't too sweet to start but this recipe made perfect use of them. Thanks Anne!
