Anne promised this brunch recipe would be decadent. It was so delicious and outrageous. When I saw the episode, I had to try this french toast recipe. The strawberry sauce sends it over the top. I don't usually add corn syrup to my fruit sauces. From now on, I will. It really adds an extra layer of sweet to the mixture. I used a strainer to remove the berries and then let the sauce thicken. I was worried about letting the bread soak in the mixture. That let it soak up the egg/ milk mixture to a new level. Quite yummy. I love you, Anne. Love your show. Keep on bringing on the sweet stuff!

Hello Gorgeous! Was so excited to find Anne back on the Food Network! Will be making Chocolate Mascarpone Stuffed French Toast for tomorrow's brunch, but couldn't wait to say, Welcome back!!! What a delightful way to spend 30 minutes... Seriously, Anne and Nate should have a show together... I can't think of two more delightful people... Loved it!

Wow! Loved your first show. Should have never discovered chocolate stuffed french toast : . We watched your show and then made brunch. So very yummy! Have always loved french toast, but this takes it to a new level. My young daughter loves FoodNetwork! She is a huge fan of Cupcake Wars and we enjoyed your show as well.

I'm so glad that this show "Dessert First" is back on the air. I'm very anixous to make the recipes from this show 4-2-11, Milk Cho & Almond Croissants and also Cho Mascarpone Stuffed French Toast along with the Strawberry Syrup. I know that my family will enjoy these recipes because they have a sweet tooth like I do. Thank You, FoodNetwork for bringing Anne Thornton back so we all can enjoy her and her delicious recipes.
