    Anne Thornton is the queen of desserts! This is a wonderful take on the classic banana cream pie. I brought this to a potluck and it was the first and only dessert that was completely devoured! My only suggestion is to cut the heavy cream (for the topping in half, otherwise it consumes the entire pie.

    Not very good. The pudding was too thick and didn't taste very good. This recipe wasn't worth the effort or cost of ingredients. I would not make it again. My son the dessert freak said he didn't like it either!! Find another and don't waste your time!! You will thank me.

    Made this pie for Thanksgiving and it was excellent. Had each of my kids do a step (i.e. one made the chocolate pudding, another made the peanut butter cream so it really was a family affair. I personally do not like the consistency of peanuts so I bought the brittle and ground it up, then added the crumbs between the layers, then dusted the top, was great. To blunicorn47 the 1/4 cup of confectioners sugar, as well as the almond extract goes into the final whipped topping. I admit I was a bit confused too...the recipe is nicely separated out by each layer but that final whipped topping nearly gets lost two paragraphs up from where the chocolate pudding recipe starts. A word of advice...take your time, read through the whole recipe twice before starting, gather the whole family to help with the various layers...its fun and delicious.

    This was the most delicious pie I've ever made! My husband forwarded the recipe to me and asked me to make it for his birthday in lieu of a cake. The whole family loved it! I substituted a crushed up Butterfinger candy bar for the peanut brittle since my son just had tonsil surgury and I was afraid the peanut brittle might me a little harsh on his throat. The whip cream with almond extract added a fantastic flavor. I will definately make this again!

    One thing i'm having trouble with is the confectioners sugar it say that we need 1/4 cup on the ingredients but in the peanut butter cream it calls for a 1/2 cup of confectioners sugar.what do we do a 1/2 cup or a 1/4 cup. We did tried the recipe and it was soooooooooo good we had same of are neighbors try it and thay all say that it was to die for

    Incredible! I will definitely make this again. Don't even think of using a pudding mix, it won't be the same. I did have some trouble locating peanut brittle, but finally found it at Walgreen's.
