This recipe was super easy and delicious. My family loved it. I served it on top of vanilla ice cream with roasted pecans. I will not buy caramel sauce from the store ever again.

It tastes great and even better if you add salt to it! However it clumped up on me a bit....I did get it mostly melted down again, but I have definitely used better recipes (odd, being there's only 2 ingredients. Hmmmm? Human Error?

this sauce was amazing!!!! i was afraid when i started that i would burn the sugar but i watched the pot really closely. it did take longer to cook than the time given but it was totally worth the wait. i served it over cinnamon sugar apples and vanilla ice cream and my father in law said it was the best dessert he's ever had!! definitely a winner.
