These were a great hit. I didn't have exactly 3 cups of semi-sweet chips so I mixed them with dark chocolate chips. I also put 1/8 to 1/4 cup of pecans; after I measured the pecans I put them in the chopper and pulsed until they were really chopped like powder, they could be left a little more whole; My husband likes the taste of pecans but can't chew the nut,the flavor in it was so wonderful, walnuts would probably be good too. I also used coarse kosher salt for I didn't have the fleur de sel; it worked great.Though I will try the fleur de sol. I also cooked it between 350 and 375 cause my oven had been being used for a couple hours,I cooked it for 28 min. Thanks for the recipe and all the reviews. wonderful hit I will definely make these again. I bringing it to a christmas party. Not everyone in my family like brownies but they loved these. enjoy

These were a big hit at the the party. I used kosher salt instead of the fleur de sel. Cooking time needed to be reduced to 25 minutes.

Yummy! Made it today and everyone loved it! Followed recipe except used kosher salt. Didn't have the salt called for. Almost put in the flour mix into the butter before the eggs but caught myself. Be careful at that part of the recipe. Will make this again!

Love these cookies. I used sea salt on the top and it worked great I thought. It is kind of like a grown up chocolate chip cookie. I love making them for parties because everyone loves them and thinks that I am some fantastic chef. I would definitely recommend cooking them for closer to 30 minutes I did them for 35 the first time and they were a bit overdone

These blondies were DELICIOUS!!! I made them for a family barbecue and I used milk chocolate chips (that was all I had and I didn't use fleur de sel (I didn't have that either but next time I will use semi sweet chips and fleur de sel!!! The milk chocolate was good but a little bit too sweet. Even without fleur de sel, these were amazing!!!

These are heavenly! The only change I suggest is in the writing of the recipe. Paragraph three that says "Whisk your flour, baking soda and sea salt, if using, in a bowl." It should follow with "and set aside". New bakers could get confused and add the eggs to the flour mixture instead of the creamed mixture.

I absolutely love these!! I have already made them several times, and they were a hit every time. I was a little hesitant to add all the salt the first time, and was sorry I didn't add more. So the next time I used more salt. Makes them fabulous!!

my husband went crazy for these. I gave 4 stars, they we a bit dry for my taste. This was probably my error since I only had bread flour. That being said my husband devoured the plate and has requested these multiple times. Today will try again with the right flour- great recipe!
