I made these for my Memorial Day BBQ and they were a huge hit! I decided about 3 hours before my guests were arriving that I needed another dessert. This recipe is so easy and fast to make. Once you have your butter softened (either in the microwave or pounded with a rolling pin, these Blondies can be in the oven in 10 minutes!
I used a crunchy, flakey sea salt to sprinkle over the top before baking. This step is the key to putting these blondies over the edge!
I followed the recipe and cooking time exactly, and the blondies came out moist, chewy and sweet on the inside, and a little crunchy and salty on the outside. Everyone wanted the recipe...EVERYONE!
This is a "must try" recipe for anyone who likes homemade chocolate chip cookies.

Very good! Rave reviews from everyone that ate them. I only baked them for 20 minutes and they turned out gooey in the middle and crispy on the outside. Next time i will most likely bake them 22-23 minutes. They dont need 30 unless you like your cookies very crispy. I swapped 1 cup of the semisweet cc's for 1 cup dark chocolate and used 1 cup of whole wheat flour! The tsp of salt on top is perfect

Excellent! In an attempt to make this recipe a little gilt free, I split the flour w/half wheat, half all purpose. I added a cup of walnuts and used only about half of the fleur de sel. This is definitely a dessert to add to your favorites.
