I read the reviews before attempting this recipe. The first time I made the brownie part over the double boiler I couldn't get the sugar to dissolve like some other people that I read. I watched her make these and the mixture went into a ball like the directions say so I set the first batch aside and tried again. Once again I couldn't get the sugar to dissolve, the mixture was gritty. I didn't want to waste the expensive ingredients so I put both batches together and doubled the eggs and flour and put them in the oven to bake as directed and they came out fine. I didn't add all that butter to the peanut butter and I made my ganache with heavy cream instead of the butter. The people at worked raved about them! Very time intensive for the first time but good non the less. Edie Hunter

Loved the brownies (best homemade recipe I've come across yet and the peanut butter layer was amazing. That said, the ganache launched these brownies to an over-the-top sweetness that hurt my teeth. I'm a chocoholic and love very sweet desserts but this was too much even for my taste. I will make these again but without the ganache and probably without the chocolate chips in the brownies.

I made this recipe for a family cookout. Everyone loved them! I knew that they were going to be a hit, so I printed a few copies of the recipe to give out and had to make more because everyone wanted a copy. Super Yummy!!!

Better than a Reese! I put it in the refrigerator to chill for a few hours before serving (which I highly recommend, but next time before the top layer hardens completely I'll cut them into pieces. They kinda cracked up when I attempted to cut them.

Amazing! I followed the recipe exactly and they came out perfect! They are very rich so you can only eat so much of a brownie. I would recommend making them for a large crowd. I ended up sending some with my husband to his office and everyone there loved them as well. Making them again for a party!

Great flavors!. I used a brownie mix and added a couple of handfuls of chocolate chips. I also substituted coarse salt and loved the contrast and texturesI made them a couple of days ahead of time and think that really gives the flavors a chance to meld. The guests that I served them for raved about them for days. I am making them for a luncheon and will cut them into smaller pieces. Definitely a keeper!

Tried these two weekends ago. Best brownies I have ever eaten. They were even better on day two. I put some in the freezer and had a frozen piece last night. Really Really good. That bottom brownie layer was the best right out of the freezer.

OMG!!! So yummy but very rich. I followed the directions the first time but on the second round I skipped the top chocolate layer because the dessert is so rich! But it is a definite crowd pleaser.

The last time i made brownies from a strach repice it was ok. So this time I used a boxed brownie mix. This were now amazing. I brought them into school the next day for the teachers. I they all loved them. After school kids kept on asking if i had any left. Than i made anpther batch with this repice and they were great also.
