    Very good! My husband said they were "very good." The only thing I did that I wouldn't do again (my mistake is to use a mixer for the filling. It got a crust on it when it baked & doesn't look very yellow. It is very good none-the-less. I'm going to ice them (powdered sugar, lemon juice, & a bit of cream cheese to hide my flaw and add a raspberry per bar to make them look pretty. Excellent recipe! Will make again later tonight. Guests at shower loved them & said they ate extra bars because they were so good.

    Very lemony. But mine formed a crust on top too and I mixed it by hand. I was not sure if my lemon bars were actually cooked through because of the crust. My filling did sit for awhile before I filled the crust because I made it while the crust was cooking. Next time I will wait to make the filling until after the crust has completely cooled.

    I loved how tart it was!! I took it to bunco night and got so many compliments. I love making desserts and I'm so happy to have Anne to watch now!!

    the filling gets 5 stars though (the crust gets 1. but i forgot to say, i always use whole wheat and raw sugar- but this is one recipe i will use white for just because of the color- especially when making for guests or someone else. they came out a tan yellow instead of a pretty pale color. don't know why i didn't think about that beforehand.

    Made these yesterday and they were a huge hit at work. Simple and so easy. A very refreshing lemon taste, definitely a keeper.

    Made this today for a baby shower......it was amazing!!! It came out perfect!! I did use vanilla rather than almond like it calls for. Crust was perfect and so was the filling!! Will make this again!

    I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out horrible. The crust was soggy and the filling had a gross texture. My family are huge lemon fans and eat them any way we get them and this was a dissappointment. I make a lot of recipes from Food Network and have never had one turn out like this. Also, I think it is not helpful that people are rating the recipes as a 5 star without even making them. They are rating 5 just to ask a question or to say they liked what they saw on T.V.
