First let me say I am not good at pies at all. I ususally have runny fillings and raw crust. This pie came out perfect. The crust is delicious. It was an instant favorite at a party that left people begging for more. This recipe is a keeper that I will make again and again.

The best pie I've ever eaten and I made it! No kidding, this pie recipe I will pass down. I felt like I could enter it in a contest. My crust was simply superb. OMG. I had a slice with my coffee for breakfast. I woke up thinking about it. My boyfriend loved it. The sweetness was just right, only used a cup. Only had 4 cups of fresh peaches so I purchased 3 cups of blueberries to go with it. My mother came over and raved about. My crust, my crust! Could not have been texturally any more delicious, Light, not too flaky and the crust was done all the way through to the bottom. A nice golden brown bottom. I hate pies that have underdone or mushy crusts on the inside. A TRUE BLUE RIBBON PIE. I will always make this and some variations. Oh By the Way. THANK YOU!!! Mama Thornton and family.

This is a wonderful pie! My daughter and I were inspired by Ann and her Mom - you could just "feel the love"! We picked up some peaches at our local grocery store, but, sadly, they weren't all that ripe and weren't as sweet and juicy as they should have been - next time we'll wait until they're ready... Still, the pie was very tasty and surprisingly creamy... We'll do this one again soon..
