Amazing dessert. The recipe was easy to follow. No changes needed. I love the hint of almond in the whipped cream and the fresh herbs add a freshening twist to a classic dessert.

DELICIOUS! This was very easy to make. I didn't change anything, except to add blackberries with the strawberries. It was a huge hit and everyone loved it! The flavors are so clean and fresh. A great spin on a traditional and sometimes plain dish. I highly recommend this! Don't change anything : Amazing on its own!

Anne....Wow this reminds me of a recipe we used to make for my Papa!! We always made our shortcakes from scratch, no store bought stuff in our house. In fact I was in my 20's and in college before I realized you could buy sponge cakes for strawberry shortcakes! LOL Excellent for strawberry. But made mine with fresh Blueberries and hand picked Blackberries that I froze from last season tossed in a few strawberries from the garden and added a bit of the zest and almond extract to the biscuits...Yummmmiiieee!
