This was very Good. This was my first time making a Apple crisp from scratch or anything from scratch that's dessert form. Love the Neely's and watch them every weekend when they have new show.

First time making an apple crisp. It was fabulous. Some family came over for coffee and waited for this while it was in the oven. They loved it. It is a must try recipe. Even without the whipped cream. We just poured heavy cream on it. This recipe is keeper. I have had apple crisp before, but not like this!

Love the bourbon cream sauce. I will also try with my hot chocolate!

This recipe is wonderful! It is better than apple pie, apple dumplings, and all the other apple crisp recipes. My husband doesn't really like cooked apples, but this is his new favorite fruit dessert. I followed the recipe exactly, except I served it with a big scoop of vanilla bean ice cream instead of the bourbon cream. Thank you Neelys!

My opinion is that everything was perfect. I had no issues with the amount of topping. I think too much would take away from the flavor overall. It is the easiest and best crisp.

This will be a winter staple in my home.

The Neelys are so much fun to watch.

This dessert was delicious and reminded me of my Grandmother's Apple Brown Betty. My favorite part was the topping - the pecans really kicked this dessert up a notch. Next time The whipped cream was good but I would have been satisfied with regular whip cream or icecream.

It is 2 days after I made this recipe for Christmas brunch and there's already been disappointment that I haven't made it again yet. Very, very, very tasty.

I made this recipe with my sister for a Holiday Party and it turned out great!! We only used 5 Granny Smith apples because thats what we had on hand. We added extra cinnamon to the mixture and extra cinnamon and allspice to the topping. This was our first time making an apple crisp and we were really surprised at how good it turned out. Instead of baking it in a 9" X13" pan we used the Pampered Chef Deep Covered baker which was not as large but was deeper and we baked it for an 1 hr and 10 mins.. I think this was why we didnt have a lack of topping as some of the other reviews read. This is certainly a keeper and I will make this again!
