I have never made homemade pancakes of any kind before, and I was amazed at how good these were! They're absolutely delicious! My only issue was I think I got my pan too hot or something, because they were kind of tough on the outside and still a bit gooey on the inside. Other than that though, they're AMAZING. I don't know if I'll ever used box mix again.

So good! I definitely recommend making them on the smaller side, because they're fluffy and heavy and get really tough to flip when they get too big. They make the best little silver dollar pancakes though! Super easy and well worth the extra five minutes to make them from scratch than to use a boxed mix!

Great Recipe! very easy! I forgot to put the butter in the batter but I did use fresh blueberries. My family loved them!

i loved the recipe, however i think i'm doing something wrong. my pancakes came out great, but they were thin like the regular pancakes. could it be the temperature i heat the pan at, or the pan itself? i don't have a griddle, so i used a regular heavy frying pan, kind of huge though. help, if u have any thoughts or ideas. should it be medium or high heat? other than that, these were actually the best pancakes i've ever made. Aida's pancakes were thick and fluffy looking.

I just made these pancakes and they were great! They were super fast and simple to make. The batter puffs up nicely and the pancakes come out light and fluffy. They tasted very good. I've tried many pancake recipes but looks like I'll be coming straight to this recipe from now on.

I made these pancakes this morning for my moms birthday, thought itd be nice to surprise her with some awesome pancakes, which I did. Tthese are the best F'n pancakes I've ever had! I recommend tweaking the recipe to personal taste. I personally think it was too much butter, but thats just me.

These cakes were the BEST I've ever eaten! They didn't quite rise the way the picture shows, but I'm sure that's because I didn't let the batter rest long enough. Instead of the blueberries, I topped ours off with fresh strawberries after they sat in sugar to make a light glaze and of course added some whipped cream. My kids LOVED it! Thanks FNW

I've made this recipe before and it never fails to make melt-in-your-mouth pancakes every time. I love pancakes with the crispy edges, which is what the extra butter in the griddle helps to create. They're simple and quick (I woke up with a taste for pancakes and will have you enjoying pancakes in 15 minutes. I've tried a bunch of other recipes, but this one tops them all for flavor and ease!

Second time around I used more sugar and cut the butter in half and didn't use the butter in the pan. Perfect! I can't imagine what the 1-star raters did to this recipe, but even following it to the letter they were good.
