After trying several other recipes that fell flat. Finally a recipe that delivers. My 7 year old made them, we didn't even have buttermilk and used regular milk and they came out great.

    Thank you....Video is great too

Let me be the first to say that I love butter. However, these pancakes are so buttery that it makes it difficult to eat more than one. I even decreased the amount of butter by 2 tbls after reading an earlier review. The batter is very easy to make and is much thicker than most pancake recipes. The pancakes were easy to make and came out fluffy and cakey just like on TV. My husband liked them, but also thought they were too rich and buttery.

These pancakes did not turn out cakey at all. They were very difficult to cook all the way through. I had to cook them for much longer than the recipe called for and I even put them in the oven afterwards. In the end they turned out flat and still somewhat uncooked. They were edible but I was not impressed and would'nt make them again.

My husband's grandmother, who was an amazing cook, used to make light, fluffy, delicious pancakes that he just adored. No one in the family, myself included, has ever been able to come close to making a pancake equal to hers--until yesterday! Usually, I'll eat one pancake just be to sociable, but after tasting these, I kept pace with my pancake-lovin' husband, and before I knew it, the two of us had devoured the entire batch! The pancakes and the blueberry syrup were simply excellent, and I shall pass this recipe on to my daughter. A definite keeper.

I made these pancakes for my family and my son's friend this morning. They tasted great but they said they were too buttery (?!? Next time I make them I'll reduce the butter by 2 T and see how it works. Overall, I was very pleased and I will use this recipe above all others from now on!
