This was delicious!!!! I used top round london broil instead of flank steak and I marinated it about 4 hours. I also used olive oil instead of sesame oil and used the juice of 1 lime. (If you watch the video, Aida used 2 Tablespoons of the lime juice--or about 1 lime.I followed all the directions, cooked it on my outside grill, and it was delicous. Will definitely be making this recipe again soon.

I saw this on her TV show and decided to give it a try (beginner cook. I marinated it overnight and put it on the grill. My family really enjoyed it! Thank you for the great recipe. This is a total keeper and I am sure to make this again soon.

Easy to prepare. I marinaded over night... the meat was moist and the flavors were prominent.

Mi Familia loved it!!! However I added some Saki in the marinade for a little extra kick. Also let it marinade for 15 hours. AMAZING!! WILL MAKE THIS ONE AGAIN!!

This was amazing. Im really surprised by some of the comments that the flavor was bland. I only marinated for about 45 min, and there was plenty of flavor! I will definitely make this again. It was so easy to throw together and really fast to grill.

Made this yesterday and it was oh, so good!
I let it marinate in plastic bag in fridge for 5 hours, then removed from fridge 45 minutes before cooking. Don't have a grill, so I used a cast iron skillet.

    Very flavorful!

Well, I didn't have sesame oil on hand so I used Olive. I added a little soy sauce and red wine vinager. I also used about half as much ginger and garlic. I let it marinate for a couple of hours then I broiled it for about 8 min a side and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Very interesting flavor, my wife and 3 year old loved it!

That sesame oil is wayy too much. Tastes almost like peanut butter! I doctored the marinade up with a ton of more lime juice, another tbsp of honey, and whisked it all together. Be sure to taste as you go along. Using this on some NY strip steaks. I'm sure it was good, just giving the low rating for the overpowering sesame flavor.

I had very little time to actually get this done - just under the 30 minute minimum. As I prepped the rest of dinner I would rub the marinade into the steak (though the bag, making sure I had the ginger on the meat as I rubbed. And I didn't have a lot of seasame oil and the amount called for didn't seem like enough to I added a bit of olive oil as well. Didn't seem to change it much - great flavor!
