I am cooking the recipe for the third time in a month! I served it for an award dinner for my company, a family dinner, and now a luncheon for 15. It is a perfect side dish for many entrees. It is easy, smells wonderful, and tastes like you worked all day to prepare. How did I miss this easy preparation before? Try it, you'll like it. I added more pecans and drizzle...just because it tastes so good.

I made this for Thanksgiving today and everyone LOVED it! Even my niece, who told me she doesn't like sweet potatoes came back for seconds. Great recipe!

This was a great recipe. I added chili and cayenne pepper as we like spicy food. I wasn't sure that it would make it to the table as everyone kept tasting it.

Made this last year for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it. It's the new staple for Thanksgiving & Christmas.

I tried out this recipe last year for Thanksgiving and Christmas with both my family and my in-laws - everyone LOVED the new twist on sweet potatoes. These will be made again this year and I'm sure for many more years to come. I don't see sweet potatoes and marshmellows in our future anytime soon!! (Also, I found if people don't like spice too much, cut back on the cayenne by half but leave out other spices for those family / friends who like spicy foods so they can doctor up their sweet potatoes how they like it.

Just made this recipe tonight to serve on Thanksgiving Day. No more sweet potatoes and marshmellows for me. Thanks Aida, great job.

I made this last Thanksgiving and everyone LOVED them. Super easy, and the cayenne gives people a little surprise. I would suggest cutting down the cayenne by a third if you're taking it to a family potluck. Not everyone appreciates the heat in the after taste.

So good! So easy to make. The cayenne pepper gives it just the right kick. The are now my most requested dish at family gatherings.

This is definitely a keeper! I might cut down on the cayenne because we have kids and there was some heat for them - but overall this was amazing!!

We made this for Christmas dinner. It got rave reviews, and was a great change from canned yams soaking in buttery sugar sauce! Roasting the potatoes first (per directions lends a nice roasted coating to the potatoes; they don't fall into a mushy mess either. I prefer only a hint of added sweetness with sweet potatoes and if I make it again I may cut down the Maple syrup from 3T to 2T. LOVE IT!
