Easy & not a lot of time but bottom was soggy. So I flipped them over & baked the other side - now they may be too crunchy. The filling is good but the wrappers didn't work for me. My husband wants me to use the filling on ice cream.

I only made the filling and used it in Alton Brown's 'pocket pies'. The taste is great, especially for such little work.

Awesome, tasty and crispy! I just made these for Super bowl and everyone couldn’t stop talking about them and wanted the recipe. I made them a few hours before everyone came and left them on a try out in my kitchen and just heated them up when it was dessert time!!! These were just perfect, very tasty, crispy and light. They only thing I did is I doubled the eggroll wrappers and use two for each one, they are very thin and I felt like this kept the apples in and once I stuffed the apples and made the fork marks, I then spray very lightly with Pam and sprinkled with cinnamon and they were perfect!

I just made these for my family, and the wrappers got crisp for me. Maybe it depends on the oven, vickbo. I'm sorry yours didn't turn out right.

I was so excited about these. The filling was awesome but the wrappers didn't get crisp as I imagined they would. They were tough and chewy... not good. I followed the recipe exactly? Not sure if I did something wrong?

I love these little pies and make them all the time now. Make them on the weekend them freeze them individually in foil and just throw in the oven for during the week when I need a dessert for myself. Nice that my family likes them too so I don't have to make separate desserts. Warm, sweet, crunchy and creamy all at the same time.

These turned out awesome. The only thing I did differently was instead of using water in the filling, I used apple cider....but I only did so because I had some on hand and I thought it would make these super apple-icious. These turned out really well and I can't wait to make them again for friends/family.

I have to say I as skepital since I grew up with a Grandmother who made fried fruit pies all the time, but these were very good. Will be making them again and again. Thanks Lisa, and by the way I love your show. Wish it would stay on the Foodnetwork,

Hubby is on restricted diet and he loves these. They satisfy his sweet tooth. He uses the fat free canned whipped cream on them.
