I used 3 containers(4 oz of fruit baby food and 2 eggs. The recipe is mistake proof. You can't go wrong. Just don't tell anyone there is baby food in the cupcakes!

My husband, who doesn't eat sweets, couldn't stay out of these. It's great because you feel like you're just eating a little dessert. Unless, of course, you eat five or six (which is easy to do. If you can't find the pumpkin/pear baby food, just use one of the teeny sweet potato and a teeny pear. I used 2 applesauce/apricot (so a total of 2 regular jars and 2 teeny jars and they turned out perfect.

I like this recipe, going to try it this weekend. I would like the Food Network folks to check availability of ingredients thiugh, the pumpkin and pear product is only available in a limited area. It would be nice if a substitution was offered that is widely available. Just my 2 cents.

These were good! I had some trouble finding the pumpkin so I used sweet potato. Also I thought the honey was too much but I think the recipe has been corrected since. I thought the almond extract in the frosting was over powering so If I made these again I would reduce the amount. Reguardless, my family gobbled them up!

How much baby food do you use in this recipe. Is it 2 jars or three. Lisa R. says 2 but if you look closely at the video there are a total of 3 jars. I want to make them soon. Can someone please tell me the correct amount! Thanks!!!

I just watched the rerun and Lisa definitely says she is using 2, repeat 2 jars of baby food. Make sure you use one of each. Will someone please update the recipe.

I watched the rerun yesterday and what I picked up was Lisa says "I am using 2 jars of baby food". The recipe on this site calls for 3 jars.

If you live in the South where there are Publix Supermarket you can find the Apples and apricots there I also found them at Target. As for the Pumkins with pears I found it at Walmart. I found the batter make 48 minis. My husband and I loved the taste of them the iciing was great but the cake itself was yummy.

I just made these baby cakes and they came out excellent. I must be reading the revised version of this recipe because it tells you how much honey to use. I also read that someone said they were using 2 tsps. of almond extract in the frosting, and said it was to much so they put in only 1 tsp. Again I must be seeing the revised version because the recipe only calls for 1 tsp. of almond extract. Like everybody else I had a hard time finding pumpkin with pears,so I did what one of the other people did. I put baby food pears and some pumpkin in with the pears, worked out well.It sounds good with the one that used blueberries in it, have to try that.Very moist cupcake.I made them for company tonight, we'll see.

My wife and I made these after seeing the show and absolutely LOVED them. We used a jar of pears baby food with solid pack pumpkin since we couldn't find both together. It made a perfect 48 baby cakes. Since it is just the 2 of us we decided to try something different with a few of them and made a Cream Cheese style ice cream and added the vanilla and almond extract and then broke apart about 4 baby cakes and added them into the ice cream. A Wonderful representation to an outstanding cup cake (and I don't like cup cakes but I LOVED these. Can't wait to make them again!
