As many have mentioned I had trouble finding the baby food too. The Nature Goodness website states that Target had it but not at mine. I ended up using pears and apples with apricots. I added some pumpkin pie spice to add the pumpkin flavor. I also only used used 2 tablespoons of honey instead of 4 as someone mentiond that might be too much. I creamed the butter and sugar first and then added the remaining ingredients. I was also glad I had read several reviewers talking about the almond was overpowering so I only added 1 teaspoon and still tasted it. (Not a huge fan of almond flavor. Also I think it makes more sense to cream the butter and cream cheese to a little fluffier consistancy before adding the powdered sugar. I guess I will now make Magic Cookie Bars with the remaining condensed milk! I was able to make 48 babycakes and a large one in a ramekin. Very, very good and will be making them again - maybe large cupcakes next time.

I just made these and like everyone else the batter made way more than what the recipe says. I also agree that it is a little too much alomnd extract. If i make these again i will only use half, or less than what the recipe calls for. This icing reminds me of the filling i use for my pumpkin roll, so it almost taste the same. Also i couldnt find pumkin with pears so i used pumpkin with apples. Same thing!!

Made a batch of large (regular cup cakes (12 and one batch baby (mini 12 and there are lovely. Used sweet potato/ apple instead of pumpkin which I couldn't find. Also cut back on the sugar, both brown and white without a problem. Nice easy cupcake for Valentine's and different from red velvet. Will be doing this again.

I haven't made these yet, and have also looked all over for the pumpkin+pear baby food. I looked up Nature's Goodness online and they list Target as a retailer. I haven't checked to see if it is in my local Target, but it sure isn't anywhere else!

I just made this recipe and it turned out okay. I had difficulty finding the apricots and applesauce so I added 1 jar apricots plus mixed fruit and 1 jar applesauce. I made regular size cup cakes. It made 24 exactly. The problem that I had is with the frosting. There is too much almond flavor. To me It is overwhelming. If I make this again I will add less almond flavor.

I also made like 5 dozen cupcakes. The frosting was delicious! I couldn't find the right baby food so I substituted the applesauce and apricots for apricots and fruit medley and the pears and pumpkin for pears and spiced squash.... it was still pretty delicious!

How "mini" were the muffin pans supposed to be for this recipe? I have two 12-cup mini muffin pans (and mini cupcake liners fit them, so they must be a standard size.... I made this recipe and after I filled up the 24 liners, I still had over half the batter left. So after that first batch came out of the oven, I made another 24. Still more batter left. I was able to fill up another pan full to have a total of 60 Baby Cakes! Not at all expecting that (nor did I really NEED 60 Baby Cakes.
About the recipe - I couldn't find the pumpkin/pear baby food (found the brand suggested of the other one in the organic food section, btw. I instead just bought a jar of pure pear baby food, dumped out half and stirred in a spoonful of canned pumpkin. Tasted fine, but I didn't especially like having to buy a whole can of pumpkin puree for a spoonful. The frosting recipe was great. I did add additional confectioner sugar (about a cup more just to make it more stiff - it seemed quite runny with just the cup and a half. The frosting recipe did make enough to frost all 60 of the cupcakes.

Not being a smartie, but if you watched the show last night, you could see she had to have used 1/4 cup of honey.
I made these tonight. The only problem I had was in finding some of the baby food. The Apples and Apricots must not be popular around here cause I couldn't find them anywhere. I ended up substituting Apples & Blueberries which worked great.
Very moist and a lot of flavor. I'll make these again..

I submitted a "comment" with foodnetwork.com last night to fix this recipe (as I have had to do with many recipes I've seen on TV and not found suitable online. They looked delicious but as one member said, why make them until you know how much of an ingredient to use?? Hopefully it will be updated soon.
