    Love this recipe! Just a tip though: Instead of a full cup of white suger add 1/2 cup white sugar and 1/2 cup packed brown sugar. Adds more flavor :

    This recipe never fails and its sooooo easy to make! Its also easy to customize in anyway you want, but just this simple recipe alone is yummy! I love baking it for family and friends as gifts!

    the best banana bread ever. i made two loaves, one with the butter and the other by substituting 1/2 c. applesauce for the butter. the one with the applesauce was a definite winner!!!! thanks food network
