This is the first banana bread that I have ever made. My husband liked the bread so much he ate half of it in one sitting. I am definitely going to be making this any time I have ultra ripe bananas.

This was my first time baking anything from scratch, only thing I've ever baked is brownies from a mix occasionally. So I was a little nervous but I have to say this banana bread was very easy to make and turned out delicious. I took the advice of other reviewers and used 5 bananas, an extra 1/4 cup sugar and some vanilla. My boyfriend loves banana bread, I made this for him and he loved it, he keeps asking me to make it again and again for him! This recipe is a winner!

I don't much care for banana bread and my husband doesn't like bananas or dessert for the most part but we both loved this recipe. I only had 2 overripe bananas at home so I adjusted most of the quantities downward by 1/3 and baked it for an hour. I also added walnuts and it came out great. Will definitely make it again.

For those of you who think it needs more sugar; my solution is to dust the loaf pan with sugar after spraying it w/cooking spray. I do this all the time regardless of the recipe. It makes it really yummy.

After reading all the reviews, I added on extra banana and it turned out GREAT! We don't need our banana bread to taste like a candy bar but, to taste like "banana" bread". This is very flavorful and moist. It wasn't ready in the hour but, cooked for another 15 mins and like I said before turned out GREAT. Next time, I will try with slenda and or egg beaters just to mix things up.

Easy, no nonsense recipe that delivers. My boys love it when I drop the batter in muffin pans instead -- reduces the cooking time to 12 mintues and produces great, basic banana muffins.
For a little adding spice, or zing, you will have to experiment.

Really moist and I love the spices. Sometimes I put nuts and a little brown sugar on the top. I've been wanting to try this with a little shorting so it will be fluffy.

This bread is the best recipe for banana bread I've made. I was skeptical at first, becasue the batter seemed too thick, but it came out perfectly. The cinnimon really adds something. I will make it again.
